Parent Involvement – It Takes a Village

We need YOU! Seals rely on parent volunteers for the season to run smoothly. Volunteering helps keep costs down.  Less than $200 for the entire summer for 7 weeks of fun?! What a deal!!!

In order to assure its success, the team counts on extensive parent involvement.  We have 50 volunteer jobs per swim meet. This season, we have TWO home meets so be prepared to help A LOT :)!

We require a $500 refundable deposit per family, unless the “buy-out” option was selected at registration. Families who meet their volunteer requirement will have their checks returned to them on the last day of the season.

Checks are to be made payable to Valencia Summit Swim Team, Inc. After you are registered, you can submit your $500 refundable deposit in the following manner:

  • Mail your check to: Valencia Summit Swim Team, Inc. PO Box 55773, Valencia, CA 91385
  • Bring your check to the Seals Open House Event on April 19th, 2026 @ the Clubhouse
  • Bring your check to the Parent Meeting on May 6, 2026 @ the Clubhouse

PLEASE NOTE: If you do not choose the “Volunteer Buy-Out” option at registration, and we have not received your volunteer deposit by the first day of practice, your swimmer will not be able to participate.

More info about volunteer positions and how to register to volunteer will be available before the season starts. Volunteer sign-ups will be done in your Active Parent Portal. Keep an eye out for an email and posts on our social media platforms.
